About MyChina

MyChina Ceramics was created by Frances Kierman of Flick Glass jewelry.

After several years of cultivating and running Flick Glass , she decided to combine her interest in ceramics and functional art with line-drawings that expressed her love of fynbos and other images that interest and delight her.

She runs both MyChina ceramics and Flick Glass from her studio in Muizenberg, South Africa, with the help of her clever elves: her mom, Wynsome, her partner, Carl, and her brother, Gene.

Special mention also to her two doggies, Isha and Ponyman & the most recent addition to the family team, her beautiful baby boy, Tenzin.
